Tickets to HEARTBEAT OF HOME's Run at Oriental Theatre on Sale 1/3

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for HEARTBEAT OF HOME, a music and dance spectacular from the producers of Riverdance, will go on sale Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM. HEARTBEAT OF HOME will make its U.S. premiere in Chicago and will play the Oriental Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement March 4 - 16, 2014.

Following its World Premiere engagement and a sold out run in Ireland and China, HEARTBEAT OF HOME will play Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York City and Los Angeles beginning January 2014.

Created by the Producers and Director of Riverdance, HEARTBEAT OF HOME is a brand new tantalizing, high octane, sexy, music and dance extravaganza. This heart-stopping tour de force features the dynamic, vibrant components of traditional Irish, Latin and Afro-Cuban music and dance. The Irish Mail on Sunday hails it as 'an extraordinary highly imaginative show' and the Irish Independent raves that this world-class cast of thirty-seven including a ten-piece band 'had every heart in the theatre missing a beat'.

HEARTBEAT OF HOME features a new and electrifying sound written by award-winning, Golden-Globe-nominated, composer Brian Byrne. The joyous, heart-stopping and high-energy production also features high-definition, cutting-edge projection technology.

Produced by Moya Doherty, conceived and directed by John McColgan with concept development and lyrics by award winning Irish writer Joseph O'Connor, Heartbeat of Home showcases world-class dancers from Ireland, USA, Australia, Britain, Canada, Italy, Mexico and Spain and choreography by David Bolger.

The HEARTBEAT OF HOME creative team also includes John Carey (Irish Dance Choreography), Alan Farquharson (Set Design), David Torpey/Image Now (Projection Design), Peter Canning (Lighting Design), Ciaran Byrne (Sound Design), Monica Ennis and Niamh O'Connor (Costumes Styling) and Padraic Moyles (Assistant Director).

HEARTBEAT OF HOME - Music from the Show, featuring the hit song "Lead Me Home" by American Idol Jessica Sanchez, will be available in Canada beginning January 14, 2014 and in the United States beginning February 25, 2014 on Decca/Universal. The DVD of the show, which was recorded live in Dublin during its World Premiere run, will be released by Decca/Universal in March 2014.
