Three Cat Productions announces the extension of the world premiere of "Hang Your Hat at Mister Kelly's" book by Jarrin Davis, original music and arrangements by Gary Gimmestad, original lyrics by Rob Dorn, directed by Artistic Director Jason Paul Smith. The productions opened on April 25, 2014 and will be extended through May 24, 2014. Cast members include Jason Michael Hammond, Nicole Haskins, Todd Neal, Paul Pasulka, Sara Reinecke, and Demetrous White, Jr. Performances are held at the Chicago Park District's Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan Road (Edgewater by Granville el stop on Red Line).

Hang Your Hat at Mister Kelly's explores the famed Chicago Rush Street supper club through the eyes of Winston, a former Mister Kelly's employee. With the help of his friend and fellow employee, Dak, Winston transports back to the 1950s, 60s and 70s and recalls the legendary performances of Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Jackie Wilson, Barry Manilow and many more. Mister Kelly's opened in 1954 at 1028 North Rush Street (now the home of Gibson's Steakhouse). Owned by the brothers George and Oscar Marienthal, the club stayed open until 1975.

The show is directed by Jason Paul Smith, Three Cat Productions, Artistic Director. Gary Gimmestad is also Musical Director. Resident Stage Manager is Jess Koster. Assistant Musical Director is David Pollak. Resident Lighting and Set Designer is Pat Henderson.

Tickets are $25 each for all performances (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Saturday matinees at 4:00pm) at the Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets can be purchased on our website at threecatproductions.com or via phone at 312.970.9840.

Street parking (paybox until 9pm) is available on Granville, side streets, and Broadway (Handicapped and a limited parking is available. Please call the box office for special parking arrangements).
