Theatre Nebula presents CUBICLE

By:

The award- winning local professional company of Theatre Nebula announces the World Premiere of Kevin Wiczer's hilarious office farce, CUBICLE. The show has a limited engagement of three weekends beginning May 26, 2017 running through June 11, 2017. CUBICLE will be presented Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. in Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 East Wood Street, Palatine, IL.

Award-Winning Theatre Nebula, in addition to well-known shows, continues to bring outstanding productions of World Premieres or less known high-quality shows to our area's audience. In May-June of 2017, Theatre Nebula will bring you another World Premiere, this hilarious farce by Kevin Wiczer. After the president of a failing shoe company kicks the bucket, his pompous son takes the reins and attempts to revive the business by bringing in a couple of investors from Chicago. If these investors aren't impressed by what they see, they'll be taking their capital elsewhere -- luckily, a new hire with no real experience has an idea that might just save them all. From the same author of Theatre Nebula's previous world premiere production of the non-stop laughing, A Man With No Opinion, Mr. Wiczer's new play, CUBICLE, proves to be just as entertaining. Come support new, live theatre at Cutting Hall by enjoying this wonderful entertaining, funny farce.

Artistic Director and CUBICLE designer, J. Spencer Greene shares, "This quick paced laugh attack show is stock full of quirky office colleagues we all recognize. Everyone who has worked in an office knows someone with eccentricities, which make us laugh. This comedy takes it up several notches." The author, Wiczer, also directs this production, the second of his original world premiere plays he has done with Theatre Nebula. He has directed many musicals for the respected theatre company.

The energetic cast includes: Jenny Calzaretta, Sean Colbert, Kyle Downs, DEric Anthony Gochenauer, Cale Haupert, Jen Houghton, Sara Inendino, Jessica Means, Don J. Orlando, Tim Stampanato, and Kimberly Wiczer-Haupert. Many of the cast are returning to work under the direction of Mr. Wiczer and also have been seen in other Theatre Nebula productions. The talented Chicago area production team consists of Author/Director Kevin Wiczer and Executive producer J. Spencer Greene, who also handles the Scenic, Properties, and Lighting Design.

Theatre Nebula is proud to celebrate the conclusion of its 18th anniversary season with the world premiere of CUBICLE. Providing innovative, professional theater to the local community, Theatre Nebula challenges the need to travel downtown for quality theatre. Come to Cutting Hall in Palatine this May and June to enjoy a fun night of folly and farce!
