The Harris Theater for Music and Dance performance calendar comes to a close with the final appearance this season by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and the annual program with Mayfair Dance Academy students.

Tickets: $25 - $90Critically acclaimed for its exuberant, athletic and innovative repertoire by world-renowned choreographers, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's ensemble of dancers displays unparalleled versatility and virtuosity. The company's repertoire will expand with the Summer Series program, which features momentous premieres by choreographers Aszure Barton and HSDC Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo, as well as a return of Toru Shimazaki's fiery and athletic Bardo. The opening night performance includes a post-performance discussion in the theater with the choreographers and members of the HSDC Artistic Staff.

Student Recitals
Sunday, June 13 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Tickets: $25 - $45The 50 year old dance instruction institution returns to the Harris Theater for its annual student recitals. Over 600 Mayfair students between the ages of 3 and 18 will showcase their talents in a Carnivale and Circus inspired programs. Mayfair Dance Academy has been working with young students in the community teaching across all dance disciplines including Ballet, Tap, Hiphop and Jazz. These performances sell-out each year, so call in advance for tickets.

Opened in 2003, the Harris Theater's mission is to partner and collaborate with an array of Chicago's emerging and mid-sized performing arts organizations to help them build the resources and infrastructure necessary to achieve artistic growth and long-term organizational sustainability.
