The Second City just gave you even more reasons to attend The Second City That Never Sleeps: 24 Hour and Our Living Room Show.

A brand new schedule has just been released for the 13th annual music and comedy marathon, The Second City That Never Sleeps: 24 Hour, going non-stop from 6:00 p.m. on December 16th to 6:00 p.m. December 17th in The Second City e.t.c. Theatre. Confirmed performers and times are:

  • 7:00 p.m. James McCartney
  • 9:30 p.m. Kim Deal
  • 12:00 a.m. JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound
  • 2:00 a.m. Ian Rubbish (with Fred Armisen)
  • 3:30 a.m. Live from New York: Bits with Mike O'Brien
  • 4:30 a.m. Christmas Stories with Steve Albini
  • 6:00 a.m. Babyprov
  • 7:00 a.m. Sofia Mia Canale
  • 8:00 a.m. Bolly, Holly and The Ricketts
  • 10:00 a.m. Alaina Stacey
  • 12:00 p.m. Renaldo Domino
  • 2:00 p.m. Robbie Fulks
  • 4:30 p.m. Jeff Tweedy

Tickets to The Second City That Never Sleeps: 24 Hour are $20 and will be sold at the door throughout the event as long as seats are available. Doors open Tuesday, 12/16 at 5:00 p.m.

In addition, Our Living Room Show on January 5th in the UP Comedy Club is thrilled to announce an expanded roster. The distinguished Second City all-stars and SNL cast members past and present performing improv and sketch comedy now include: Aidy Bryant, Mike O'Brien, Tim Robinson, Kevin Dorff, TJ Jagodowski and Horatio Sanz, appearing with special guest Steve Albini.

The laughs will be followed by an intimate "living room"-style musical performance from Wilco's Grammy-winning frontman, Jeff Tweedy.
