The Revival Hyde Park Announces May Programming

The Revival, Hyde Park's comedy theater, announces its lineup of shows and events playing in May 2017. Inspired by the legacy of the Compass Players, The Revival brings improvisational comedy back to the same corner where it was invented in 1955! Longform Improv featuring Randy Picker & Lior Strahilevitz

The Hutchins Plan is named for early twentieth century University of Chicago President RoBert Maynard Hutchins. Featuring "Special Guests" from across the College, the performance begins with an extemporaneous monologue that inspires a series of interconnected scenes. Join host Prof. Randal Picker, Special Guest Prof. Lior Strahilevitz and The Hutchins Plan Ensemble for an evening of classic long-form improvisation.

Queer Variety Show

SPACE is a queer variety show hosted by stand up comedians Carly Ballerini and Shannon Noll. Featuring the best performers in Chicago who happen to be LGBTQIA identified. The performance is rooted in stand up, with featured acts including dance, music, drag, storytelling, and more! Space seeks to create a place for performers and audience alike to celebrate their identity and art.
