The Neo-Futurists present their annual Pride Weekend benefit: 30 Queer Plays in 60 Straight Minutes, a special edition of Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes that combines queer and gender binary-smashing plays from the past with new work to benefit and support local LGBTQ organizations. The 2015 beneficiary is The Crib at The Night Ministry (thenightministry.org).

With an open heart and an open mind, The Night Ministry provides housing, health care and human connection to members of the Chicago community who are struggling with poverty or homelessness. To volunteer, donate, or learn more about programs, visit thenightministry.org.

How do we help The Night Ministry? Attend any of our regular shows during Pride weekend and your pass-the-hat donation on Friday, Saturday or Sunday goes toward support services for members of our community. If you attend Thursday's special benefit performance, your entire $25 ticket price goes directly to The Night Ministry.

Performers for the weekend include: Ida Cutler, Trevor Dawkins, Nicholas Hart, Daniel Kerr-Hobert, Jeewon Kim, Lily Mooney, Kirsten Riiber, Leah Urzendowski, and Malic White.

One more thing! The Neo-Futurists will participate in Chicago Dyke Mark on Saturday, June 27th in Humboldt Park as well as the Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28th. Come out and help celebrate the visibility of your queer and gender-nonconforming neighbors! More info at chicagodykemarch.wordpress.com and chicagopride.gopride.com.
