Wicker Park sports bar and comfort food restaurant The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St) will host a Cinco De Mayo Party featuring a live mariachi band, discounted drink specials, and best mariachi mustache competition on Wednesday, May 5.
Mariachi Michoacano - an 8-piece live mariachi band - will play live from 8pm to 9pm during The Fifty/50's Cinco De Mayo Party.Drink specials during the Cinco De Mayo Party include:* $6 Pama margaritas (normally $9)
* $6 Cazadores tequila maragaritas (normally $10)
* $4 Cazadores Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo tequila shots (normally $8-$10)The Fifty/50 will also award a free 10-person private party for two hours to the person with the "best mariachi mustache" at midnight during its Cinco De Mayo Party.About The Fifty/50: Dining scene vets Greg Mohr and Scott Weiner co-own this Wicker Park tri-level restaurant and 16-flatscreened upscale sports bar replete with a revamped 65-seat outdoor patio with two additional flatscreens.
