Broadway In Chicago is pleased to present The Ten Tenors at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University (50 E. Congress Pkwy.) for a limited engagement November 24 to 29, 2009. The internationally-renowned Australian group will entertain Chicago audiences with holiday classics and selections from their eighth studio album, "Nostalgica."

Tenor and Musical Director Graham Foote describes the new album as "a romantic journey of musical discovery" that is inspired by and dedicated to all their fans. Produced by Grammy Award-Winning Producer Simon Franglen, in collaboration with Musical Directors Graham Foote and Craig Hendry and backed by magnificent orchestral arrangements by Steven Baker, "Nostalgica" is an album full of classics from the 20th Century.

The group has come a long way since humble beginnings as university students at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, performing as a way to earn some pocket money to becoming one of the most successful worldwide touring acts today, averaging 250 international concerts each year.

During live performances, The Ten Tenors set out to capture the intimacy between themselves and the audience while invoking nostalgic memories of people, places or times in history with songs ranging from Mexican best-sellers to post-war classics to jazz, including "Granada," "You'll Never Walk Alone" and Louis Armstrong's classic, "What A Wonderful World." Also included is "Besame Mucho" and their all-time most requested song and Irish favorite, "Danny Boy."

The Ten Tenors felt "Nostalgica," recorded during a seven-month United States tour in anticipation of reaching the 10- year anniversary as a professional touring act, heralded change. They looked forward to the future of The Ten Tenors and also referred back to their past, both collectively as a group and individually. They were reminded warmly of their musical idols, teachers, parents and fans, and the music they related to those aspects of their lives and careers.
