Super Bowl Champion Pierre Thomas to Host Homecoming Party at The Fifty/50 4/8

Wicker Park sports bar and comfort food restaurant The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St) will host a homecoming party for Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints running back and Lansing, IL native Pierre Thomas on Thursday, April 8.
Thomas, a Thornton Fractional South High School and University of Illinois alum, calls The Fifty/50 "my favorite sports bar in Chicago". Thomas scored a touchdown in the Saints' 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.Thomas will throw out the first pitch when the White Sox host the Cleveland Indians at 7:10pm on Thursday, April 8. Thomas will head to The Fifty/50 after the Sox game, and Thomas is expected to bring other pro athletes with him to his homecoming party. Thomas' homecoming party at The Fifty/50 is open to the public, and there is no cover charge. Drink specials during the party include $3 Stella Artois bottles, $5 Ultimat vodka drinks, and $4 Pama "Tossed Fruit Salad" shots. About The Fifty/50: Dining scene vets Greg Mohr and Scott Weiner co-own this Wicker Park tri-level restaurant and 16-flatscreened upscale sports bar replete with a revamped 65-seat outdoor patio with two additional flatscreens.
