Spartan Theatre Company Presents A BRIGHT ROOM CALLED DAY, 11/07-23

Spartan Theatre Company presents Tony Kushner's early masterpiece A Bright Room Called Day, November 7-23. A group of friends in 1930s Germany are caught up in the rise of the Nazi party and Adolf Hitler's ascent to power. Meanwhile, an American woman in the 1980s shares a similar set of concerns during the Reagan administration. Directed by Laura Elleseg, this production looks at how history changes-and how it stays the same.

A Bright Room Called Day runs November 7-23 at Chemically Imbalanced Theater, 1422 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60613. Press opening is Thursday, November 6 at 7:30pm. Opening night is Friday, November 7 at 7:30pm.

Regular performance times (November 7-23) are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm. Ticket prices are $15 the first two weekends, and $20 on the final weekend. Discounts include $10 for industry and students (with I.D.) Group rate for 10 or more is available upon request. Tickets may be purchased online by visiting spartantheatre.org or at Will Call at the Chemically Imbalanced Theater on the night of the production. The production runs approximately one hour and forty minutes with one intermission.
