Lyric Opera presents a Broadway family favorite this spring: Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music! This classic that you know and love features Chicago native Billy Zane, known for his starring roles in Titanic and Chicago on Broadway, as Captain von Trapp, with a dazzling cast that includes Broadway stars Jenn Gambatese (Maria) and Edward Hibbert (Max), plus opera luminaries Christine Brewer (Mother Abbess) and Elizabeth Futral (Elsa Schraeder).
