SOMETHING WONDERFUL: RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN AT THE MANSION Announced By Opera Saratoga
Performances will take place on May 31 at The Mansion Inn.
Opera Saratoga opens its 2026 season with concerts featuring the 2026 Festival Artists, accompanied by Opera Saratoga’s music staff, led by acclaimed pianist and coach Adam Nielsen, who joined the company in December 2025.
Something Wonderful: Rodgers and Hammerstein at the Mansion, will showcase the voices of this year’s Festival Artists at The Mansion Inn, only minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs.
“These young singers are some of the best we’ve ever had in Saratoga Springs — they’ve won national awards, sung, and played in A-houses and many are going to Europe next year” says General and Artistic Director, Mary Birnbaum. “We are tremendously lucky to have them at Opera Saratoga, and I can assure you, you won’t want to miss this chance to hear them in a beautiful, intimate setting!”
“Something Wonderful” features many song from the musical theatre repertoire including songs from “The Sound of Music,” “South Pacific,” “Oklahoma!,” “Carousel,” and rarities like “Allegro,” “The Boys from Syracuse,” “Floyd Collins,” and “Once Upon a Mattress.”
