Red Tape Theatre and Theatre Y present YERMA, a new collaboration from Jeff Award Wining Music Director Nicholas Tonozzi and Jeff Nominated Director Max Truax.

The Theatre Y Ensemble directed by Red Tape Theatre artistic director Max Truax will soon be presenting a new adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca's YERMA. The co-production will feature original music by composer Nicholas Tonozzi who also acts as music director. Truax and Tonozzi reunite for YERMA following the success of their first major partnership, Oracle Theatre's 2013 production of THE MOTHER which received five Joseph Jefferson awards including Best Ensemble, Best Production, and a win for Tonozzi for Original Music in a Play.

Following a remount of THE MOTHER in 2014, Tonozzi continued his collaboration with Oracle Theatre for their productions of THE JUNGLE and CIRCLE MACHINE earning two more Jeff Award nominations and one win. The show marks the first production in our new home theatre space at 4546 N. Western Avenue in the heart of Lincoln Square!

Performances take place October 27-December 10. For more information visit redtapetheatre.org.
