Raven Theatre Presents BOO HAHA!, 10/29

Raven Theatre invites the community to BOO HAHA!, their first Annual Fall Family Festival! BOO HAHA! is Saturday, October 29 from 2-5:00 p.m. Featuring bounce houses, games, trick or treating, face painting, prizes and a costume parade, BOO HAHA! is sure to turn your Halloween weekend into a festive neighborhood extravaganza! (Kids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.)

BOO HAHA! is brought to you by Friends of Raven (F.O.R.)

"Friends of Raven" (F.O.R.) is a group of volunteers who act as ambassadors to raise awareness and financial support for the theatre's "Take Flight" youth outreach programming. Their mission is to have fun while supporting the theatre by:
-Actively developing new sources of fundraising, including planning and executing fundraising events
-Working to increase public awareness of "Take Flight" - the theatre's education and outreach programming

In addition to organizing F.O.R. events, members volunteer their time in support of Raven Theatre's artistic programming. For example, members have
-Worked at "Opening Night" receptions and special events
-Assisted with the Annual Summer Benefit
-Helped with subscription sales

In return, F.O.R. members
-Gain personal satisfaction from supporting a thriving arts organization with an outstanding educational outreach program that serves a community defined by tremendous diversity in its socio-economic and ethnic make-up.
-Have pride of ownership in a quality, award-winning regional theatre that employs local artists.
-Attend and assist with special event performances, including invitations to rehearsals and post-performance conversations with the cast and crew.
-Achieve camaraderie among peers and artists who love the theatre!
-Become part of the theatrical in-crowd!
