Pride Arts Center (PAC), home to Pride Films and Plays (PFP), has been producing a variety of shows each month, but this summer will be their first ever Theatre for Young Audiences production.

PAC delightedly presents PRIDE EVER AFTER, a charming 45-minute show for ages 10 and up, which enlightens and entertains as four actors play more than 20 characters! PRIDE EVER AFTER is directed by PFP Artistic Associate Amber Snyder with guest artist Lesley Fisher Chapman as assistant director. This physical comedy romp will feature Myesha-Tiara McGarner, Kendra Verhage, Matthew Towers and Shea Lee.

PRIDE EVER AFTER explores what it means to add pride to familiar "Happily Ever After" tales and looks at the world through rainbow-colored lenses. Written by Carly Crawford, associate education director at Emerald City Theater, PRIDE EVER AFTER is open to creative directorial interpretation while purposefully written to address LGBTQIA+ themes in a fun and friendly way. Each performance will end with a Q&A with the cast. This production is new to many and PAC is excited and ready to start a trend.

PRIDE EVER AFTER opens Saturday, July 8th at 2pm at The Broadway, Pride Arts Center (4139 North Broadway) and will continue to run every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm through July 30th. General Admission tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $5. Tickets can be reserved online at www.pridefilmsandplays.com or http://bit.ly/2PrideEverAfter2.
