Pivot Arts is pleased to present THE SADNESS SHOW: AN ALTERNATIVE VALENTINE'S CELEBRATION, its latest installment of PIVOT@63 - a once-a-month line-up of unique performances at Bar 63, 6341 N. Broadway Ave. in Chicago. THE SADNESS SHOW will take place Wednesday, February 10 at 8 pm. Tickets, priced at $10 or $5 students, are available at the door. Pivot Arts' annual tradition features a cabaret-style showcase celebrating sadness through performances of stories and songs that are often heartbreakingly hilarious. Hosted by actor, singer and clown Molly Brennan, who recently appeared in Lookingglass Alice, the evening includes a story contest by premier writers including Sophie Blumberg, Isaac Gomez, Chris Green, Bonnie Metzgar, Martin Zimmerman and spoken word artist, Nikki Patin.
