Pink Droyd Comes to the Raue Center

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to announce the return of Pink Droyd in 2019! Rock the Raue with the all-star cast of the North American Theatrical Pink Floyd Concert as they pay tribute to the 40th anniversary of the landmark album "The Wall" at 8 p.m. on March 2, 2019.

"Experience a tribute to Pink Floyd like no other as Pink Droyd returns to Raue Center for a spectacular tribute that is both accurate to the music of Pink Floyd and visually stunning with a robotic, intelligent light show," says Raue Center Board President Tim Paul. "This is one of our most requested shows and we are proud to bring Pink Droyd back to Raue Center!"

For over four decades, the amazing music and live concerts of Pink Floyd have entertained and mesmerized audiences around the world. Their live performances were both aurally astounding and visually brilliant. Today Pink Droyd, a tribute to Pink Floyd, brings the look, feel, and sound of those shows to audiences, both young and old, around the country.

In 1979, Pink Floyd released their grand opus, "The Wall"- an amazing double album that dissects the inner struggles of the character Pink. Over the following four decades, these songs and their stunning imagery have shaped and defined countless works, spoken to generations, and have served as the soundtrack to many lives.

For the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd's landmark album, Pink Droyd will be performing "The Wall Live," complete and uncut. Pink Droyd brings the music of Pink Floyd to life by including theatrical performances of some of Pink Floyd's most memorable songs. From building "The Wall" to visiting "The Dark Side of the Moon," Pink Droyd spans the Pink Floyd catalog, performing the most memorable hits and some beloved obscure tracks. Their show is both accurate to the music of Pink Floyd as well as visually stunning, featuring a robotic, intelligent light show, digital video accompaniment (including the Pink Floyd traditional circular video screen) and amazing laser show.
