TapMan Productions, LLC is proud to bring THE TRAVELING TAP DANCE SUPER SHOW, performing June 22 at 6pm, to Gorilla Tango's Skokie Theatre (7924 Lincoln Ave., Skokie, IL 60077). Tickets are $12 and are available through gorillatango.com, by calling 847-677-7761, or at the door. Check out a first look below!
Look, up on the stage! Is it an improv troupe? A hunger artist? No! It's the Traveling Tap Dance Super Show!!! Musical, mathematical, athletic, nostalgic, cutting edge - all of this describes...tap dance? You bet it does, at least when you are describing The Traveling Tap Dance Super Show, featuring The Tapmen, Kyle Greer and Special Guests. Few performers can capture the range and versatility of tap dance like Chicago-based tap company, The Tapmen (Best of Dance Chicago 2010), a collaborative effort between three of Chicago's brightest tap stars all hailing from different backgrounds, featuring Marty Bronson (Chicago Tap Theater), Tristan Bruns (MADD Rhythms) and Zada Cheeks (Chicago Human Rhythm Project's BAM!). Sharing the stage is the one-of-a-kind singer-songwriter Kyle Greer. Part theater rock, dark cabaret, and chamber pop, Kyle combines them all for you for your viewing and listening pleasure.Photos by: Adam Salinas
