Photo Flash: First Look at the Cast of Highland Park Players' GOODNIGHT MOON

By:

Highland Park Players present Goodnight Moon, a musical for young audiences, at Edgewood Middle School Auditorium, 929 Edgewood Road in Highland Park on Saturdays and Sundays, February 14, 15, 21, and 22, at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Based on the beloved children's classic book, Goodnight Moon, this musical transforms the simple story of a young bunny preparing for sleep into a 3-D wonderland, full of catchy songs, delightful choreography, a colorful set and clever costumes. The rhyming ritual and the great green room come alive as the bunny dances and sings his way to sweet dreams, along with dancing bears with chairs, the Cat and the Fiddle, the Cow Jumping Over the Moon and even a trip through the night sky with dancing.

The cast of Goodnight Moon will be performing musical selections from their upcoming show at Barnes and Noble (728 North Waukegan Road) in Deerfield from 7pm to 7:30 on Friday, February 6. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their books.

The cast includes: Tyler Callahan (Barrington), Toni Mansfield (Evanston), Meredith Colby Procell (Deerfield) Bob Spidale (Addison), Jacob Cohen (Northbrook), Kelsey Stephens (Chicago), Jenna Makkawy (Chicago), Caryl Davidson (Skokie), Scott Schwartz (Highland Park) and Derrick Procell (Deerfield).
