Photo Flash: First Look at The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences' PINOCCHIO

The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences is thrilled to present its new production of Marc Robin's classic fairy tale musical PINOCCHIO! Come join us for the story of Pinocchio's eventful journey from wooden puppet to real boy, and delight in the adventures he has along the way. The production is currently in previews and runs through August 2, with a press opening on Saturday, July 11 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Director Dominic Missimi will helm the production, and is joined by Music Director Tom Vendafreddo and Choreographer Amanda Tanguay in their Marriott Theatre debuts. The show will be a special one-hour presentation for kids (and parents) of all ages and is followed by a question and answer session with the cast.

Pinocchio is the story of a wooden puppet (Andrew Spatafora) that is magically given the gift of animation by the wish of a wood carver, Geppetto (Jarrod Zimmerman), and the wand of the loving Blue Fairy (Dara Cameron). Coaxed along his fantastic journey by his friend Hopper (George Keating), Pinocchio encounters an array of colorful characters including the wily team of Kitty (Laura Savage) and Fox (Devin DeSantis), the scheming schoolboy Lampwick (Liam Quealy), and an evil puppeteer (Jeff Max). From a candy island to the belly of a whale, this new musical spin on the classic tale is sure to dazzle and delight audiences of all ages!

Music, lyrics and book are by Marc Robin, with additional material by Rachel Rockwell. Costume Design by Nancy Missimi, Lighting Design by Jesse Klug, Sound Design by Robert E. Gilmartin, Properties Coordination by Michael Hendricks, and Stage Managed by Angela M. Adams.

PINOCCHIO plays most Wednesdays through Sundays at 10 AM. Visit MarriottTheatre.com or call 847.634.0200 for exact schedule, as show times and dates vary. Single ticket prices are $17.23 per person (includes fees and taxes). Free parking is available at all shows. To reserve tickets, call the Marriott Theatre Box Office at 847.634.0200 or go online.
