Ogorod Announces Cast & Production Team For THE FANTASTICKS
The new Chicago-area theater company Ogorod Productions (whose name is taken from the Russian word for "vegetable garden") has announced their cast and production team for THE FANTASTICKS, with book & lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt.
The production will be directed by Brigitte Ditmars, and the cast includes Will Herndon (Matt), Jessica Surprenant (Luisa), Bailey Richardson (Hucklebee), Travis Monroe Neese (Bellomy), Noel Taylor (El Gallo), Brian McKnight (Henry), Lane Halverson (Mortimer), and Anna Backer (the Mute).
The production team for THE FANTASTICKS also includes Kingsley Day (music direction), Evan Frank (scenic design), Cat Wilson (lighting design), Gary Nocco (costume design), and Devon Green (properties design).
THE FANTASTICKS will run June 22 - July 1. Performances will take place at the Piven Studio Theatre at 927 Noyes St, Evanston, IL.
