Nikki Renee Daniels Will Take Over the Role of Angelica in HAMILTON in Chicago

Nikki Renee Daniels has taken to Twitter to announced that she will be joining the company of Hamilton in Chicago! She will take over the role of Angelica, beginning tomorrow, April 2.

Daniels has appeared on Broadway in Aida, Nine, The Look of Love, Children and Art, Lestat, Les Miserables, Promises Promises, The Book of Mormon, Anything Goes, and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. She also recently appeared in The Secret Garden off-Broadway and the Encores! production of 1776.

HAMILTON is currently playing at Broadway In Chicago's CIBC Theatre (18 W Monroe) where it has been in residence since September 2016.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, music direction/orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won eleven 2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations. Mr. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Hamilton.
