New Interactive Website Launched for Marriott Theatre's HERO
Noreen Heron & Associates have announced the launch of a new aspect of Marriott Theatre's upcoming production of the contemporary new musical, HERO. An interactive website has been created, live today at www.heromusical.com (Designed by Charles Riffenburg of Grab Bag Comics), for audiences to gather more information and follow along with the production process. There is a behind the scenes blog, media, bios and more posted.
HERO has been created by the Chicago team of writer Aaron Thielen (Marriott's Co-Artistic Director) and Composer Michael Mahler. Based in Thielen's hometown of Milwaukee, HERO follows aspiring comic book artist Hero Batowski, who lives anything but a superhero's life- he's 28 years old, works in his family's comic book shop, and still lives at home with his dad. A long-ago tragedy left Hero unable to move on with his life. When a series of unexpected events occur, Hero must decide whether he is ready to finally face his fears and get his life on track. This quirky new musical explores those extraordinary moments in ordinary life when there are no superheroes to the rescue.
