Navy Pier Celebrates Independence Day with Free Live Music and Fireworks
Navy Pier, Chicago's top Fourth of July destination, to host a spectacular Independence Day celebration, complete with live music in the Miller Lite Beer Garden and the Pier's signature Aon Summer Fireworks Presented by Miller Lite. As the city's only lakefront fireworks show, Navy Pier will be at the center of the city's Fourth of July celebration, with a special 15?minute fireworks display synchronized to patriotic music.
Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the many different activities and experiences on the Pier throughout the day - from the diverse dining, retail and entertainment options within the newly renovated Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion, to the iconic Centennial Wheel and other popular attractions in Pier Park. Navy Pier's boating partners will also offer cruises throughout the day and during the fireworks display for an unparalleled viewing experience.
It is anticipated that large crowds will attend Navy Pier for the Fourth of July's annual fireworks display. Please plan accordingly and arrive early. Navy Pier will close upon reaching crowd capacity.
WHEN: Wednesday, July 4. Navy Pier will open to the public at 10 a.m., offering guests the opportunity to jump start their holiday festivities along the lakefront.
In the evening, guests can catch live music performances at the Miller Lite Beer Garden by Local Motive (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.), Concrete Roots (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and Marina City (8 p.m. to 9 p.m.) ahead of the Aon Summer Fireworks Presented by Miller Lite at 9:30 p.m.

PARKING: Media parking is available in the North Overlook only - located at the far east end of the North Dock,
near the Aon Grand Ballroom." Please note the garages will fill quickly.
