Directed by Chicago's Broken Nose Theatre Artistic Director Benjamin Brownson and written by Ken Davenport and real people just like you, My First Time runs Fridays at 11 p.m. Opening Night/Press Opening is Friday, Sept. 14 at 11 p.m. (Preview is September 9 at 11 p.m. and is pay what you can). Tickets to My First Time range from $15 –30 and can be purchased at www.greenhousetheater.org or 773.404.7336.

My First Time features four actors in hysterical and heartbreaking stories about one's first sexual experiences written by real people. In 1998, a decade before blogging began, a website, www.myfirsttime.com, was created that allowed people to anonymously share their own true stories about their first times. The website became an instant phenomenon as more than 40,000 stories poured in from around the globe that were silly, sweet, absurd, funny, heterosexual, homosexual, shy, sexy and everything in between. These stories were brought to life in the Off-Broadway hit My First Time in 2007, which ran for two and a half years and garnered media attention on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and even spawned its own iPhone commercial.

Each performance of My First Time features a Chicago storyteller sharing the story of his or her first time. The original roster included storytellers who have previously performed with the Neofuturists, 2nd Story, Essay Fiesta, Fillet of Solo, and elsewhere. Like the play itself, the storytellers represent the rich diversity of sexuality and sexual experience found in our community, and give the show a special Chicago flavor and connection while ensuring that every performance is fresh and unique. The list of storytellers for the fall run will be announced at a later time.

The audience is more than just a group of passive observers at My First Time; they also have the opportunity to tell their own story. Before each performance, audience members are encouraged to fill out a short survey with questions like "Are you a virgin? Where were you when you lost your virginity? If your first sexual partner were here right now, what would you say to him/her?" The answers are then collected and incorporated into the show, which ensures each night has different twists and turns and allows a more personal conversation about this still taboo subject.

The complete cast and production team for My First Time includes: They are named as follows: Catherine Dildilian (woman #1), Brooks Applegate (man #1), Leslie Ruettiger (woman #2) and Spenser Davis (man #2).
