Linchpin Theatre to Stage NINA VARIATIONS, 6/6-22

By:

Linchpin Theatre will produce The Nina Variations by Steven Dietz this summer. Linchpin's David Fehr and Kathryn Bartholomew are featured in Dietz's tribute to the characters "Nina" and "Treplev" from Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. The Nina Variations explores the synchronicity and dissonance revealed when the two lovers feel compelled to say the things left unsaid.

Nina Variations will run Friday, June 6th through Sunday, June 22nd 2014 at Linchpin's home located within Josephinum Academy, 1500 N. Bell Ave. in Wicker Park. Performances will take place on Friday and Sunday evenings at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door or at brownpapertickets.com.

Located in our home at the Josephinum Academy in the heart of Wicker Park, Linchpin Theatre strives to create and inspire a new theatre-going audience by producing affordable, accessible, and dynamic productions featuring imaginative artists, terrific scripts, and clear story-telling. In addition, we endeavor to encourage young artists and theatre-goers through educational outreach and classes in the Chicago community. For more information please visit linchpintheatre.com.

David Fehr and Kathryn Bartholomew moved to Chicago shortly after obtaining their Master of Fine Arts degrees in Acting & Directing from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with the intention to continue the theatre production work they began in grad school with their company, One Night Stand. While working throughout the Chicago theatre community, they are happy to bring Linchpin Theatre into the vibrant Chicago storefront scene, the Wicker Park neighborhood, and the Josephinum family.

The Nina Variations is directed by David Fehr and Kathryn Bartholomew. The creative team includes: Katilyn Grissom, Robert Lloyd, Annie Monfort, Eric Van Tassell, and Josie Wilson.
