Lifeline Theatre Sets 29th Anniversary Benefit for 6/6
Lifeline Theatre presents "An Austen Soiree: Readings, Music and Games of Jane's World" for its 29th Anniversary Benefit.
Ladies and gentlemen of the time will be in attendance, as guests enjoy games, dancing and music of the period. There will be Regency-inspired dining as well as delectable wines, small beers and fine whiskeys. Also command performances from favorite Austen novels, an exciting live auction and our Speculation Raffle. It's an evening of fun for Janeites and Non-Janeites alike. And all for a very good cause.
An Austen Soiree takes place from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Woman's Club of Evanston, 1702 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, IL. Tickets are $100 for advance purchase, and $125 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Lifeline Theatre Box Office, 773.761.4477, or by visiting www.lifelinetheatre.com.
The Lifeline Theatre Austen Soiree is generously sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Corn Products International, Chicago Office Technology Group, and Koval Distillery.
Live auction treasures include:
- A Mackinac Island Getaway for two, including hotel stay at the Iroquois Hotel and gift certificates to local restaurants and recreational entertainment
- Ultimate Chicago Sports Fan Experience, including a behind-the-scenes tour of Soldier Field (for up to 15 people), two tickets to the Cross Town Classic (Cubs vs. White Sox) at U.S. Cellular Field, signed baseballs by Robin Venture (Manager, White Sox) and David DeJesus (Right Fielder, Cubs), and four tickets to a Northwestern Football home game

- First Prize: $2,000
- Second Prize: $750
- Third Prize: $250
