Lewis University Heritage Theatre Company to Hold Auditions for TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND

Having opened in 1988 and played its final performance in December 2016 as the longest-running show in Chicago history, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind by Greg Allen is an ensemble improvisation in presenting "30 Plays in 60 Minutes." Each two-minute play is performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest. The collection of plays includes comic, tragic, political, personal, and abstract plays that everyone will enjoy.

Auditions are open to anyone! Don't miss your chance to join this fun cast. Auditions will be held in the Studio Theatre on July 31 at 6:30 p.m. Nothing to prepare! Cold readings from the script will be provided. Actors should wear comfortable clothing and shoes for movement. Casting approximately 10-12 roles. Rehearsals will be held weekdays from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

The show is produced by Heritage Theatre Company and will be directed by alumni Kevin Bukauski '17, Mike Frale '17, and Kate O' Neil '15.
