Jackalope Theatre Announces Extension of Ike Holter's EXIT STRATEGY Through 6/29

Due to popular demand, Jackalope's hit production of Ike Holter's Exit Strategy will 10 performances, spanning two weekends, extending through June 29, 2014 at Broadway Armory Park, 5917 N Broadway, Chicago. Tickets will be available starting at 10am on Monday, May 26 via www.jackalopetheatre.org.

EXIT STRATEGY is written by Ike Holter, and directed by founding Jackalope company member Gus Menary. The production features Jackalope company members Patrick Whalen (Ricky) and Daniel Martinez (Luce), along with HB Ward (Arnold), Lucy Sandy (Sadie),Barbara Figgins (Pam), Paloma Nozicka (Jania), and Jerry MacKinnon (Donnie).

From the acclaimed writer of Hit the Wall and Loom, comes the story of a Chicago public high school slated for closure at the end of the year. The impending shut-down causes tensions in the school's already volcanic neighborhood to rise to the breaking point, but a small group of teachers launch a last minute battle to save the school. Over the course of the year, they put their careers, their future and their safety in the hands of a fast talking administrator who comes on strong: but might actually have no clue what he's doing.

The production team for EXIT STRATEGY includes: John Holt (scenic design), Company Member Claire Sangster (lighting design),Delia Ridenour (costume design), Thomas Dixon (sound design), Mel Gill (props design), Jen Dorman (graphic design), Joshua Altman (dramaturgy), Ian Olsen (technical director), Ryan Bourque (fight choreography), Allison Raynes (production stage manager), Mikayla Pasquale (assistant stage manager), Company Member Elana Boulos (casting director), and Artistic Director AJ Ware (producer).

The regular run of the show is sold out, but additional performances have been announced from Thursday, June 19th through Sunday, June 29th. Performances for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings will be at 7:30pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm.

Tickets are $15 - $30, and went on sale at 10am on May 26, via jackalopetheatre.org
