HAMILTON Chicago Cast Members to 'RISE UP' in Support of Puerto Rico

Cast members of Hamilton Chicago will headline "Rise Up for Puerto Rico," an all-ages concert to benefit Unidos Por Puerto Rico on Monday, October 30, at the Greenhouse Theater Center, located at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave.

Created by Hamilton Chicago's JOSÉ RAMOS (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton) whose family is from Puerto Rico, "Rise Up for Puerto Rico" features live musical performances by Ramos, Ari Afsar (Eliza Hamilton), Miguel Cervantes (Alexander Hamilton), Chris Lee (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Candace Quarrels (Hamilton Chicago Company), Samantha Marie Ware (Glee/Original Hamilton Chicago Company), Miranda Rae Mayo (Chicago Fire), The Chicago Cuatro Orchestra and other special guests to be announced.

"Rise Up for Puerto Rico" benefits Unidos Por Puerto Rico, an initiative brought forth by the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, in collaboration with the private sector, with the purpose of providing aid and support to those affected in Puerto Rico by the passage of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane María. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to helping the victims affected by these natural disasters in Puerto Rico.
