Gorilla Tango Theatre to Present THE RIGHT AMONT OF TEQUILA!

The Right Amount of Tequila! is a wacky alcohol­fueled romantic comedy about the unattractive things that boys and girls say to each other in the night. Barbara and Bruce are two college acquaintances, struggling to begin their adventures in the real world. One late, winter night, they bump into each other at a bar and return to Barbara's apartment to make a sad, sorry go of it. Adding to the laughs, are Emily, Barbara's wine­drunk roommate, Paul, an aggressive punk­style drummer, and God, the lord of all that is accidental, who offer ill­conceived opinions, unwarranted frustration, and plenty of alluring substances! Can Barbara and Bruce set aside their intoxication and general distaste for one another and form a meaningful relationship or will weird friends, a disgruntled deity, and obnoxiously chirping birds dispel any chance of romance for good? Just like a shot of tequila, love tastes great going down, but not so great coming back up. The Right Amount of Tequila! is a laugh-a-minute joyride that proves(?) even millennials are capable of finding true love.

Produced by Shane Abbott, directed by Leslie Halverson, and written by Pat Radke, the cast features Iris Kohler as Barbara, Eric O'Neill as Bruce, Liz Greenwood as Emily, Zachary Hebert as Paul, and Zach Finch as Favorite God.
