Genesis Ensemble presents In Love's Bright Coils, a new ensemble-devised piece, directed by Kat Paddock -playing August 6 - 30, 2010 at The Charnel House, 3421 W Fullerton Ave (off the Logan Square blue line stop, at the intersection of Kimball and Fullerton). The press performance is Sunday, August 8th at 3pm.

Throughout history, humanity has expressed romantic love with the written word. This summer, in an original, ensemble-devised performance, Genesis Ensemble explores the evolution of the American love letter. Through performance Genesis celebrates the expression of love from America's start, to the days of the telegram, to the advent of the email and asks our audience to consider: Does the way we communicate affect the way we love? The performance features Genesis ensemble members and artistic associates Amanda Jane Dunne, Chris Acevedo, Jake Carr and Sergio Soltero.
