GayCo Productions to Bring 50 STATES OF GAY to Northwest Suburbs

By:
Watch out Donna and her morning walk group, Chicago-based sketch comedy troupe GayCo Productions has set its sights on the 'burbs and you'd better believe it's going to be the dom top.

On Friday, January 8th at 8pm, GayCo kicks off its landmark 20th anniversary season by performing the best of its recent smash-hit variety show 50 STATES OF GAY in Arlington Heights at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25 and seats are assigned, so it's recommended they be purchased in advance

GayCo's fall revue skewered a different state during each of its eight shows, from the phallic peninsulas of Michigan to the big sleazy Louisiana to the home of the original ho (Don Ho), Barack Obama's own Hawaii.

The Metropolis production of 50 STATES OF GAY will feature the very best scenes, songs and comedy bits from the original run, and more. Expect puppetry, interpretive dance, laminate hardwood flooring, a lesbian break-up scene or two, and much more until each state is saying "thank you master" to the comedic flogging and begging for more.

GayCo Productions is a homosensible, bi-larious LGBTQ theatre ensemble that was formed out of the famed Second City in 1996 and has been bringing it's subversive, no-holds-barred comedic voice to audiences around the country and the world ever since.

50 STATES OF GAY stars Jessica Belless, Kathy Betts, Lanny Fox, Clay Goodpasture, Allison Reese, Christopher Thies Lotito, and Robin Trevino.
