Fox Valley Rep Youth Ensemble to Stage Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, 12/7-21

Director Amy Malcom of Fox Valley Repertory and the Youth Ensemble bring Disney's The Little Mermaid to the Fox Valley Area. Under the musical direction of Kyle Donahue with choreography by Maegan Daniels, the FVR Youth Ensemble brings this Disney fairytale of dreams, love and underwater adventure to life on the Pheasant Run Mainstage on December 7-21, 2013 (4051 East Main Street, St. Charles).

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she's the girl with the enchanting voice. The FVR Youth Ensemble will feature the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She's in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea!"

Disney's The Little Mermaid, will be presented on Saturdays, December 7, 14, 21 at 10:30 am; and Sundays, December 8 & 15 at 7 pm on the Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage. Disney's The Little Mermaid features lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, music by Alan Menken, and book by Doug Wright. It is based on the Hans Christian Andersen Story Disney Film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker, written & directed by John Musker and Ron Clements.

The Fox Valley Repertory Youth Ensemble is an exclusive, audition only program for the best and the brightest young talent.
