Join Alice as she follows the White Rabbit to Wonderland, where she meets such memorable characters as the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat and more in the FVR Performing Arts Academy's Kid's Ensemble production (ages 6-11) of Alice in Wonderland.

Alice in Wonderland will be presented at Pheasant Run's Mainstage on Friday, October 22 at 4 pm and Saturday, October 23 at 11 am. Admission is free.

"I am amazed at the abilities of such young actors. They truly take pride in their work," says Tracy Whiteside of St. Charles, the education manager for FVR. "The kids are so excited and passionate, and typically fearless on stage. My only challenge is keeping them quiet without squashing their enthusiasm! I have the best job in the world at the best theater ever." Tracy has directed over 50 shows with casts from 6-20 years old.

There is no admission fee for the performance, however in honor of The Cheshire Cat, the cast will be accepting donations at the door of cat food, litter and bedding for Anderson Animal Shelter, a local charity in South Elgin that helps homeless cats and dogs. Additionally, as a non-profit organization, FVR Academy accepts cash donations in lieu of admission to provide scholarships to local children for the arts.

Alice cast Members include: Aurora: Anna Laurich, Bartlett: Willow Apponi, Allison Belliveau, Batavia: Madelynn Calbeck, Elburn: Mary-Kate Griffin, Jenna Kraus, Geneva: Maya Hawkins, Erin Hurley, Ella Kobylecky, Sophie Nunez, Carly Rasmussen, Hanover Park: Hayley Troyan, South Elgin: Carolyn Calbeck, Christina Calbeck, Robert Keldani, St Charles: Anna Crowell, Kaitlyn Crowell, Katie Das, Kristen Das, Erika Denker, Keira Denker, Kathryn Dybas, Malea Kinnison, Daniella Taylor, and West Chicago: Ashley Peters, Lindsay Peters.
