Fox Valley Repertory continues their 2013 theater series with the 1950's with Stuart Ross's hit, Forever Plaid. Directed by Brandon Bruce with Music Direction by Jeffrey Poindexter, performances will take place at the Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage on March 28 through May 19, 2013 (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; box office 630-584-6342).

Forever Plaid will preview Thursday, March 28 through Friday, April 5, 2013. The show will open Saturday evening, April 6, 2013 and continue through Sunday, May 19, 2013.

Tickets are priced at $32 on Fridays (and limited Thursday performances), and at $42 on Saturdays and Sundays. Subscription tickets are available for $20 or less when a 4-show season package is purchased. Dinner packages, group discounts and overnight rates are also available.

When an eager doo-whopping boy band inconveniently dies on their way to their first big gig, the heaven-sent boys hilariously return to earth to take the stage one last time and fulfill their big dreams - on the Pheasant Run Mainstage! From Perry Como and Ed Sullivan to nostalgic four-part harmony and (of course) plaid tuxedos, it'll be good ole fashioned '50s fun when Sparky, Smudge, Jinx, and Frankie sing your favorite jukebox tunes, including "Catch a Falling Star," "Magic Moments," "Three Coins in the Fountain" and more.

The cast of Forever Plaid features (in alphabetical order): Robert Deason, Andres Enriquez, Ryan Naimy, and Rob Riddle. Choreographer is Brigitte Ditmars.

Brandon Bruce will be directing on the mainstage at Fox Valley Rep for the first time. His production of The Little Foxes at Shattered Globe was nominated for three Joseph Jefferson Awards including Best Production. He previously served as Artistic Director of Chicago's BackStage Theatre Company where he directed The Ruling Class, The Skin of our Teeth, Terra Nova, and Denise Druczweski's Inferno. He serves as Artistic Associate for Chicago's Signal Ensemble, having directed Catch-22. Bruce was been included as one of the "Top 20 Chicagoans to Watch" by Time Out Chicago Magazine. He received the Best Director Award from Chicago's Orgie Awards for his 2006 staging of Slawomir Mrozek's Tango with the Chopin Theatre. His 2006 production of The Skin of our Teeth received two nominations from Chicago's Jeff Awards, winning the citation for Best Actress in a Principal Role. His staging of Terra Nova received a Jeff Recommendation.

Forever Plaid runs Thursday, March 28, 2013 through Sunday, May 19, 2013. Show times are: Fridays & Saturdays @ 8pm, and Sundays @ 2pm. Special Thursday performances are March 28 and April 4 @ 8pm, and April 11, 25, and May 16 @ 2pm. The show is rated PG.

This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and is sponsored in part by the Daily Herald, Geneva Eye Clinic, MCC Technology, and The Law Offices of Cooper, Storm & Piscopo.
