Enrollment Now Open for Light Opera Works' SHOWSTOPPERS Musical Theater Classes

Light Opera Works is currently taking enrollments for the "Showstoppers" musical theater classes for kids, which begin January 22. No auditions are required.

Three programs are offered:

MAKE YOUR OWN MUSICAL REVUE
January 22-March 26, 2104
Wednesdays 4 to 5:30 pm
Age 10 to 15
$400 per student

Director Caryn Ott Hillman and music director Christopher Richard help students select solos and duets, then create their own original musical revue for the final class on March 26 (which is open to family and friends).

TAP YOUR TROUBLES AWAY
January 24-May 30, 2014
Fridays 4 to 5 pm
Age 8 to 88 (yes -- adults welcome too)
$450 per student

Director/choreographer Caryn Ott Hillman leads this tap dance class geared for beginners to more advance (adults also welcome). Students learn basic technique and tap combinations. Family and friends are invited to observe the final class/performance on May 30.

AUDITION AND SONG MASTER CLASS
April 23-May 28, 2014
Wednesdays 4 to 5:30 pm
Age 10 to 15
$200 per student

Director Caryn Ott Hillman and music director Christopher Richard coach students on solos and help them prepare materials for school, community and professional theater auditions. Guest judges will offer feedback at the final class (family and friends welcome) on May 28.
