Drury Lane Theatre For Young Audiences Presents SEUSSICAL! ImageDrury Lane Theatre for Young Audiences presents Seussical, an unforgettable musical caper from Tony-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Once on This Island, Ragtime) featuring the beloved characters of Dr. Seuss. This production is directed by Scott Calcagno with choreography by Ericka Mac and music direction by Ellen Morris. Seussical runs April 18 - June 9, 2018, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.

Seussical is a fantastical, family-friendly, magical, musical extravaganza that brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination - Jojo. These colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Come find out if Horton is able to save the Whos or if maybe the Whos save him!

The cast of Seussical includes Kyle Adams (The Cat in the Hat), Devin DeSantis (Horton the Elephant), Meghan Redding (Gertrude McFuzz), Leah Morrow (Mayzie La Bird), and Kyrie Courter (Sour Kangaroo), with James Leonardi and Patrick Scott McDermott alternating in the role of Jojo. The ensemble includes Brian Bandura, Andrea Collier, Anthony Lombard, Mary-Margaret Roberts, Maisie Rose, Koray Tarhan, and Marco Tzunux.

The creative team includes Chris Rhoton (Scenic Designer), Caitlin McLeod (Costume Coordinator), Brian Elston (Lighting Designer), Claire Moores (Wig Designer), and Cassy Schillo (Properties Designer).

Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a meet-and-greet breakfast buffet with Seussical characters on Saturdays at 11:30 am (April 21 & 28; May 5, 19, & 26; and June 2 & 9). In addition to breakfast staples like bagels and muffins, the breakfast includes a yogurt bar; an omelette station; a savory station with bacon, eggs, sausage, and tater tots; and a sweet station with pancakes, French toast, and made-to-order doughnuts. Guest will also receive an activity booklet where they can learn about the production and collect the actors' autographs. The breakfast is priced at $17 for adults and $13 for children 12 and under and is free for children under 3. Fresh juice and coffee are included, and bottomless mimosas are available for an additional $10. With so much to choose from, the Seussical breakfast is a great option for the whole family!
