Director Beata Pitch Awarded Artist Residency in Paris

By:

The Trap Door Theatre has announced that Artistic Director Beata Pilch has been selected for an Artist Residency at the Program Cite Internationale des Arts-Home of foreign artists in France. Pilch was the only person from the United States to be selected for this honor, as well as the only theatre artist. During her three month long residency in Paris, beginning in April, Pilch will network with French actors, playwrights and directors to seek out new productions to bring to Chicago.

This residency was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Cultural services of the French Embassy in Chicago and New York.  For more information, visit www.citedesartsparis.net.

Beata Pilch is currently revising her role as the Mother in ME TOO, I AM Catherine Deneuve for a four city tour throughout France, including 10 performances in Paris. For more information, visit
