Dandelion Theatre Presents BE MINE
Tickets to "Be Mine" are $10 (only available at the door) and all proceeds benefit Dandelion Theatre.
"Many of the performers at our fundraiser have previously collaborated with Dandelion while others are working with us for the first time," said founder and host Katherine Lamb. "It's a healthy mix of the new and the familiar. Dandelion Theatre believes in building community through collaboration and this variety show brings together groups that wouldn't normally share the stage. It's a great opportunity to experience the wide range of Chicago stage talent.
Hosted by Katherine Lamb and local Chicago actor Joe Vargo, the line-up includes sketch comedy from Cigarette Sandwich, featuring Case Blackwell, Andy Bolduc, and Tim Lamphier; storytelling from Morgan Crouch; musical improv from Dave Redick; sketch comedy from Bevvy; improv from Sweaty Dads; and a short play by John Weagly - "A Lady Who Collects Spiders Meets A Gentleman Who Collects Snakes", directed by Bec Willett and featuring Elaine Bell and Brian Hurwitz
Dandelion Theatre, founded in 2014 by Katherine Lamb, is committed to creating experiences that inspire and vitalize artists and audience members alike. We seek to attain this by cultivating community, fostering the artistic process, and valuing truthful discourse.
