...inside my kaleidoscope, written and directed by Donnie F. Wilson, announces its participation in the Chicago Fringe Festival with performances at the Dream Theatre, 556 W. 18th Street, Friday, Sept. 2nd at 8:30 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 4th at 4 p.m.; Monday, Sept. 5th at 7 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 8th at 10 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 11th at 2:30 p.m.

The Dallas production that almost didn't make it to Chicago stars local equity actor Anthony Pierre Christopher. A moving drama with hilarious intersections. A. P. Christopher plays the role of Christopher, an African American evangelical Christian who struggles with his sexual, racial and spiritual identity. ...inside my kaleidoscope has earned audience and critics' acclaim receiving a Dallas Morning News editor's pick and a Dallas/Ft. Worth Art Performance Pick. KRLD Radio Art Calendar editor Peter Arnel hailed it "Phenomenal." Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at www.chicagofringe.org.

Judgment, intolerance and hypocrisy are the revolving themes in ...inside my kaleidoscope. The play juxtaposes these precarious topics in a finger pointing narrative that recognizes how easily they can be internalized and inadvertently perpetuated; emphasizing the adage "When you point your finger at someone else, there are three fingers that point back at you."

Donnie F. Wilson a native of Dallas, Texas holds a bachelor's degree in Radio/TV/Film from the University of North Texas. Wilson's background includes a list of entertainment powerhouses: Disney, USA Networks, Hanna-Barbera Productions, Rogers and Cowen and publicist to NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, who is interested in producing ...inside my kaleidoscope off-Broadway after the Chicago Fringe Festival showcase.
