Chicago Artists Month to Wrap with Screening of CELESTIAL BODIES Video Series, 10/31

The 18th Annual Chicago Artists Month concludes with a grand finale that includes a screening of all six episodes of the interactive video series "Celestial Bodies". Created by featured artist Jake Myers and his team of over 70 Chicago artists, Celestial Bodies is a Science-fiction exercise video for all ages. Science, art and aerobics collide in each 12-minute episode of Celestial Bodies.

Kelan Phil Cohran will be joined by the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble for a performance entitled "A Cosmic Expression." This performance includes a "celestial" slide show created by Cohran from his archive of astronomical slides, a dance performance and, the dynamic music of HBE. The eight musicians of Hypnotic Brass Ensemble are all Phil's sons.

Two food trucks will be parked outside the Chicago Cultural Center: Jerk 312 and Ms. Tittle's Cupcakes.
