Beginning on Saturday, May 17, and continuing every Saturday through July 5, The Lyric Opera Broadcasts of the 2013/14 Lyric Opera of Chicago season will be rebroadcast internationally by The WFMT Radio Network and heard locally on 98.7WFMT.

WFMT's Peter van de Graaff and Lyric Opera of Chicago's dramaturg Roger Pines host the eight opening-night broadcasts of the 2013-14 season.

The Saturday broadcasts begin at 12 noon CDT:

Madama Buterfly/Puccini (in Italian) May 24 - 3 hrs
Parsifal/Wagner (in German) May 31 - 4 hrs 45 min
La Traviata/Verdi (in Italian) June 7 - 3 hrs
Die Fledermaus/J. Strauss, Jr. (in German) June 14 - 3 hrs 20 min
The Barber of Seville/Rossini (in Italian) June 21 -3 hrs 15 min
Rusalka/Dvo?ák (in Czech) June 28 - 3 hrs 30 min
La Clemenza di Tito/Mozart (in Italian) July 5- 3 hrs

Chicago-area broadcasts on 98.7WFMT begin at 12:00 noon CDT. Check local listings for exact times and dates outside the Chicago area. The broadcasts can also be heard anywhere in the world on wfmt.com.
