Black Ensemble Theater (BET) has announced the extension of "The Jackie Wilson Story" through Sunday, February 19, 2012. The show opened at the brand new Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center, 4440 N. Clark Street, on November 18 and was scheduled to run through January 8. Due to the great response, BET is ecstatic to extend this production!

Written, produced and directed by BET Founder and CEO Jackie Taylor, "The Jackie Wilson Story" is an award winning, extremely successful, high-energy musical showcasing the rise and fall of legendary performer Jackie Wilson.

The show runs Wednesday and Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $55 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturday matinees and Sunday evenings; and $65 on Fridays, Saturday evenings, and Sunday matinees, and are available by calling the Black Ensemble Theater Box Office at 773-769-4451 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
