There are only two weeks left to catch Billy Elliot the Musical, the 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry. Billy Elliot will play its final performance in Chicago on Sunday, November 28th at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph Street). Great seats are still available for all performances, but Tuesday and Wednesday performances have the best seats!

Billy Elliot the Musical, the show that Time Magazine calls "The Best Musical of the Decade," is the joyous celebration of one boy's journey to make his dreams come true. Set in a small town, the story follows Billy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, discovering a surprising talent that inspires his family and his whole community and changes his life forever. Based on the international smash-hit film, Billy Elliot the Musical is brought to life by the Tony-winning creative team - director Stephen Daldry, choreographer Peter Darling and writer Lee Hall - along with music legend Elton John, who has written what the New York Post calls "His Best Score Yet!"

Billy Elliot the Musical, winner of ten 2009 Tony Awards, is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Jon Finn and Sally Greene. Angela Morrison and David Furnish are Executive Producers. The production features scenic design by Ian MacNeil, the associate director is Julian Webber, costume design by Nicky Gillibrand, lighting design by Rick Fisher and sound design by Paul Arditti. Musical supervision and orchestrations are by Martin Koch.

Tickets are on sale now for the finAl Weeks. Individual tickets range in price from $30 to $100. Tickets are available at all Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (24 W. Randolph St., 151 W. Randolph St. and 18 W. Monroe St.), the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line at (800) 775?2000, all Ticketmaster retail locations (including Hot Tix and select Carson Pirie Scott, Coconuts and fye stores), and online at www.BroadwayInChicago.com. Rush tickets ($25) go on?sale at 10 a.m. the day of each performance (11 a.m. on Sundays). A minimum of twelve (12) seats to as many as forty (40) are available at the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre box office (24 W. Randolph) only. Additional seats, subject to availability at select performances, may be made available day?of show at the box office or online at www.BroadwayInChicago.com. Limit two (2) tickets per patron; seats are limited view.
