BWW News: Early Demand for Chicago's HAMILTON

If you were questioning the HAMILTON hype, think again. Early signs indicate Chicago's production of the Tony Award-winning, hit show will be the hottest ticket in town.

Tickets officially go on sale 10 a.m. today and as of 7 a.m. CST, the line for tickets circled an entire city block from the Private Bank Theatre box office on Monroe street, down Dearborn, up Madison to finally turn the corner at State Street.

Theatergoers began lining up for the chance to purchase tickets to the Chicago production around 10:30 a.m. yesterday. The Chicago production will open Sept. 27.

HAMILTON tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today and can be purchased at the box office (18 W. Monroe), by phone at 800.775-2000 or online at Ticketmaster.com. There is a limit of six tickets per househould
