Andrea Marcovicci's Series of Shows at Davenport's Begins Tonight
Called the "the greatest cabaret star of her generation" by the International Herald Tribune, star of screen, stage, concert and recording star Andrea Marcovicci will be making a special concert appearance at Chicago's premier venue for music, Davenport's, 1383 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago.
The six special performances will take place Wednesday July 16, Thursday July 17, Friday July 18 at 8pm two shows on Saturday, July 19 at 7pm and 9:30pm and Sunday at 7pm.. Joined by her acclaimed music director and pianist Shelly Markham and Jim Cox on bass, Andrea's new show No Strings. Everyone looks forward to getting away from it all. Andrea takes the audience on a wonderful journey about life on the road - a warm, funny, heartfelt, and candid tale of Andrea's time spent traveling from city to city and what that bittersweet time has meant to her as a singer, an actress, a wife and mother. Highlights include: "Sunday in New York," "Two For the Road," "How are Things in Glocca Morra?," "Under Paris Skies," and "A Foggy Day." In addition, Andrea will recreate her celebrated rendition of "These Foolish Things.
