American English Returns To Raue Center, 1/6 Kick off 2018 with a musical blast from the past! Raue Center For The Arts is proud to welcome award-winning Beatles tribute band, American English, back to the stage for another look into The Beatles' vast history book. American English returns at 8 p.m. on January 6, 2018 for another GREAT twist on The Beatles: Double Fantasy Album Night!

"This consistently sold-out show is a highlight for Raue Center," says Raue Center Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. "The music of The Beatles entertains all generations and American English always presents an amazing show filled with so much pride and joy!"

Double Fantasy Album Night is a one night only experience featuring two revolutionary albums. During the first of two sets, American English will perform the first Beatles' album released. Experience all the raucous guitars, drums, bass and harmonica that create classics like "Love Me Do," "Please Please Me," "There's A Place" and "Twist & Shout" as American English performs the UK edition of "Please Please Me" in its entirety!

American English continues this must-see experience for fans old and new alike by taking the audience through The Beatles' sixth studio album. Feel the magic of the album that marked a turning point in the band's skyrocketing career, with unforgettable songs including "Nowhere Man," "Girl," "In My Life" and "Michelle," as American English performs all of "Rubber Soul."

American English is widely considered the best Beatles tribute of our time, with the late Sam Leach, original promoter for The Beatles, calling the band "The Beatles Incarnate." Known for their precise attention to every musical detail, American English creates "The Complete Beatles Tribute" complete with costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects.

At the inception of the band, American English was the winner of a sound-alike contest at Beatlefest for three consecutive years. American English has also be named Illinois Entertainer of the Year, was voted Best Beatles Tribute Band in the 2011 Chicago Rocker Awards and also won "Best Tribute Band" three of the last four years in the Chicagoland area. The demand here and abroad, coupled with their spectacular fan base, has anchored American English into a professional setting and launched them to performances at venues and theatres worldwide.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or at 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
