Actors Training Center Hosts BREAKING INTO THE BUSINESS Workshop Today
For anyone interested in acting - there is no ONE PLACE to go to learn how to navigate the very competitive and complicated acting industry. A quick Google search and you're swimming in a vast sea of "acting classes for kids" and "talent agents for kids," many of which come with hefty price tags, huge commitments and grand promises of making you or your child the next big star.
"Breaking Into The Business" is for anyone interested in hearing directly from industry professionals first-hand. "This class will save participants time and money making common mistakes. I give an honest and practical roadmap (potholes and all) of how to navigate a very competitive industry," said Dibo.
Throughout her career, Dibo has heard many horror stories from parents hoping to get their child into the business and is now on a mission to educate parents and anyone interested in breaking into the film, theatre, and movie industry on what steps to take and what to avoid.
Dibo has helped clients like Katie Chang land roles in Sofia Coppola films as well as Chang's recent role in a new MTV comedy pilot 'Little Darlings'; Rachel Brosnahan who received an Emmy's nod for her role in House of Cards and Zoe Levin (The Way, Way Back), just to name a few.
Cut to the chase and learn firsthand how to break in and work your way through the film, TV and theatre business. Dibo will share her years of experience in this invaluable workshop breaking down the who's who and the do's and do not's of a very complicated industry.
Guest speakers will include some of the industry's top professionals including:
- Mary Hollis Inboden - Actress, "The Real O'Neals" with Martha Plimpton
